Our after school clubs were designed by educators to help kids explore, create, learn, and have fun!!! All children in grades K – 6 th are invited to join. Clubs begin after school and end at 5:30 PM, Monday – Friday. After school snacks are provided to participants. Below you will find just a few of the activities children will experience in our after school clubs with a focus in the arts, sciences, and humanities.
Clubs:
Mondays:
Storytelling, Creative Dramatics, Acting, Art, and Movement Exercises
Tuesdays:
Columns of Culture: learning about different cultures through international cuisine.
Wednesdays:
Sensational Science: Our students magically turn into scientist as they learn and practice the scientific formula connected with our variety of special projects.
Thursdays:
Get ready to warm up your voices and loosen those bodies as we lift every voice; singing, dancing, playing percussion instruments, and once an awhile have a public performance.
Fridays:
Movie day, board games, and or fieldtrips to cap off the week!
Cost:
Call the Wonder Workshop for a price quote. There are limited scholarships available. Scholarships provide by: Caroline Peine Charitable Foundation, Yes! Fund, The Bramlage Foundation, and donations from the Wonder Workshop Dream Team!
Transportation:
All parents provide transportation home from the schools at 5:30 PM.
FAQ:
Will my child be required to attend all five days to enroll in your after school program?
No. Parents may enroll their student according to their desires each month. For example, a child can enroll for all the Tuesdays within a given month. But a child must enroll for a minimum of four days per month.
